How to use a Poster Printer

So if you are needing output like 36" x 48" posters or banners 36" tall, this is the poster printer you'll want.

WHY WE LOVE THIS PRINTER:
What's great about this printer in our opinion is its simplicity.  Not only is it easy to operate, it's easy to work on.  The printer is primarily a mechanical system that really holds up.  if a customer has a problem, we're usually able to help them fix it right over the phone.  If not, we can easily diagnose it and give them a quick estimate on the cost to fix it.

The poster printer works only as  a stand alone unit.  As a stand alone machine, simply insert your original into the scanner on top,   press the green button, and your document is automatically fed through and enlarged to poster size (23" x 31") within 70 seconds.

As mentioned, this printer accepts 4 different roll sizes.  However, each of the printers offers manual additional size selections with each roll.  So instead of using a 17" roll, invest in 23" rolls and manually select the 17" output.  The printer will automatically provide a splice mark where to trim.  One cut and you've got your 17" x 22" poster.  

Same with 29" posters.  Instead of purchasing 29" rolls, use a 36", select the 29" output and let the machine do the work for you.  This system allows you to get the output sizes of all 4 but the investment of just two roll sizes.

Like all the poster printer models, these are direct thermal - one color systems.  Three print heads heat up (see picture 3) and cool down.  the paper itself is coated and reacts to the heat by imaging in colors - typically black or blue. The best part is that there is no toner or ink needed ever.  Just poster paper. (see picture 3)

All refurbished poster printers are cleaned, lubricated and adjusted.  Any parts damaged or not working properly are replaced.  Each refurbished printer will come with a 6 month warranty that covers the unit from top to bottom.  When you receive your printer, it should be working as if it  was new and last for a number of years without any problems.
